I’ve been a bean counter for close to thirty years now.  I started working at a bank in 1983, as a teller.  Before that I went to school, and studied German and French.  Off and on over the years I have tried administrative type jobs and have been less than successful.  The thing I missed most was the people contact.  Take away people and I wilt like a cut flower without water on a hot summer day.  So for now I continue as a teller (bean counter).

When it comes to the author end of this, I can’t remember a time when I didn’t create stories.  Once, when I was very young, my siblings asked me to compose a story when we were playing school.  This was a treat for me, as neither of my sisters appreciated my imagination nor writing talents.  Maybe it was just a different attitude and philosophy of life.  As time went on I kept writing.  Until 2003, I concentrated on short stories.  That year, for the first time, I attended a writers’ conference.  From there the dream to write books has grown.

These days I am polishing my first Science Fiction novel.  Soon it will be ready to send out into the world.
