Thoughts on ‘Not Too Late Forever’ hook

Posted on October 4, 2011October 4, 2011 By Jodi

I’ve been spending most of my time on the edit.  Rather, I should say the 2nd and 3rd edit of ‘Not Too Late Forever’.  In between that and my day job, I’m making an effort to keep something posted to this webpage.

The important thing this week is to continue working on the hook.  Below are musings for that very thing.  It is too long, but maybe over the next few days I can bring it down to the one liner it needs to be.  Here is what I have so far.

I’ve talked about working together and being part of a team.  That’s what this book is about.  Not only is it never too late for love, it’s never too late for life.  This book is about the value of heritage and belonging.

I value the environment in which I live.  There are multiple cultures inhabited by the humanoids who live in this area.  Some of the diversity is included in my book.  In my own unique way I am writing what I know.

Now back to the hook:  From the death of a planet, a woman discovers what she thought lost to her forever.

I’ll keep working on it.
