Another chance to learn

Posted on October 13, 2011 By Jodi

I’ve probably spent too much time on my hook lately.  Or is that an oxymoron?

Here are more thoughts on the subject.

A promise gone terribly wrong.  One world destroyed.  Another threatened.

From the destruction of a planet, a woman escapes to rediscover life.  The threat follows her.

I have been bouncing back and forth from my two edits, to the synopsis, to the hook.  This may not be a great idea, but it is what I need at the moment.

Next week I make yet another attempt to secure an agent to represent my book ‘Not Too Late Forever’ at the Surrey International Writers’ Conference in British Columbia, Canada.  This is a great opportunity to learn from greats and study with peers.  This year I am going to make even more of an effort to make connections with other authors.
