Time to move on to the next step

Posted on February 2, 2012February 2, 2012 By Jodi 1 Comment on Time to move on to the next step

Now that I have moved on to the third edit and polish of ‘Not Too Late Forever’, I realize how gracious Suzie Townsend was in the rejection she gave me for my book. Because the characters are now pushing me out of the way, with all their might, I even appreciate the two silent rejections Donald Maass gave me. The form letter rejection from Laurie Mclean has been a great help as well. Elizabeth Evans, the first agent to give me a rejection was kindest of all with her explanation for her rejection. Now, with these behind me, I continue to work toward the ultimate, an acceptance and offer of representation. The time has come. Wish me luck, not only because that’s a big part of getting published, but mostly because I value your opinion.
