The week started with my critique group. I took the first ten pages of Chapter One. It was a necessary decision to get the beginning in better shape. With less than two months until The Surrey International Writers Conference, I need to have more confidence in the first chapter of my book.
In case you think I’m kidding when I say I can write anywhere, check out the attached photo. I took my notebook to the park. In the company of good friends, I worked on the edit and enjoyed some good jazz.
Only one more Concert in the Park, after this one
Today, Wednesday, I had the late shift at work. Still eight hours with an hour for lunch, gave me time to write. I started the day with one of my favorite pastimes, Chamber of Commerce Greeters. After that I went to coffee with friends, then off to work.
Things slow down for Thursday and Friday, just the day job. That will leave extra time for writing.
Make it great by following your passion. I am! There’s always time for writing.
These photos are sntnuing, I love the way the light reflects on the grasses. I’m hoping for more sunshine too. Over here in England the summer weather’s been so-so these past few months. Always hope for more sun though! xxx
