Surrey International Writers’ Conference 2013-day 2

Posted on October 26, 2013 By Jodi

Working on my pitch. Last night at the master class, Robert Dugoni gave an explanation of what a pitch should be. I have something to work on, but will stick with what I have for today.

This morning I have my pitch. I am so nervous. Worried that I will succeed, scared to death that I won’t. Wish I had taken Nephele Tempest master class on writing a synopsis.

It was an exciting day. The blue pencil I had with Jodi McIsaac was amazing. Got some great pointers to make my writing better.

Pitch to Michelle Johnson went well as well.  Will get busy and polish chapter 1, query and synopsis.

Shock Theatre topped off the night with laughs.

Best of all I got to sit, listen and talk to other writers.
