Today is the first day in the rest of my life. An old saying, but I’m approaching the day and this weekend with this as my main determination. I’ve been working on my first book, “Not Too Late Forever”, since 2006. During this time I’ve learned so much about writing. It’s amazing how intricate the process is. Another thing that has come into play for me is all the gracious and giving writers who are not only willing, but eager to share their knowledge. I hope to soon count myself in their ranks.
Today is a good day to make a major dent in the edit of my book, and get it ready for Sunday night. There’s still work to be done before I send it off to the agent I talked to at the Surrey International Writers. Conference. There’s been a lot of work along the way. Now I need an equal amount of luck.
