Last Chance for the Latest Contest

Posted on September 18, 2017September 18, 2017 By Jodi

I’m moving in on the deadline for the latest contest that I want to enter. It’s too late to have my writers’ group go over it. However, after the contest is over, I will still share it with them.

I have been working with yatmal and zarln. Two sprites, they enjoy spending time together. yatmal (it is not a mistake that her name is not capitalized) retreats to the spant, a bubbling tub of pure hot water. A getaway from all the expectations that weigh her down, a deadly secret carries her into a dilemma that changes her life forever. The fate of her planet and the life of her new friend depend on her ability to overcome her greatest fear.

So now, I need to write the story. This is a character who I met accidentally in my first book. She comes across as a sparkling personality that adds joy and light to the room. Life excites her, maybe mostly because everything around her is so much bigger than she is. yatmal and I have been communicating for over a month now, maybe over two months. It’s time to write the story.

Wish me luck and keep the coffee flowing.

Respectfully submitted,

Jodi
