One Week Closer to The Surrey International Writers Conference

Posted on September 27, 2017September 27, 2017 By Jodi

This year I’m going to the Surrey International Writers Conference with less confidence in my ability to be publish. Nonetheless I have not lost my passion for my writing.

I completed and submitted the short story for #siwc17 writing contest. I’m not sure if is any good. I’ll have to wait and see if I get any response.

Now I’m back to working on two of my writing projects. One of these is an edit of my first book. I love this story and understand more each edit that I travel through. The other is a midgrade urban fantasy. My only unsuccessful NaNoWriMo attempt, I have gotten more out of it, than any of the others so far.

Coming soon, in November, I’ll work to polish and add another 50k words to my first @NaNoWriMo attempt and success. I’ve never done this before, my other NaNo challenges have all been original stories.

For now, I’m going to finish @The Creative Hour working on “Misty’s Magical Shed” for my writers’/critique group on Sunday.

Keep the coffee flowing.

Respectfully submitted,

Jodi
