Working on NaNoWriMo

Posted on November 18, 2017 By Jodi

Hello all,

Many writers, like myself, are typing away working to pull in enough words to be considered a winner during this run of the words in November 2017.

I have been typing away, however the hope of getting 50,000 words this year, is less than a dream. In three projects that I am switching between, as well as another I’m gathering information for, I’m trying to pull together enough words to make at least a semblance of a contribution to NaNoWriMo.

Two stories that need to be fleshed out from previous NaNoWriMos, draw me back and want me to get their stories formed into books. In November I have much more inspiration to get words down on paper, or in my case, on the computer screen. These stories are shouting as loudly to me as any others.

Today I am working at a favorite coffee shop, Rogue Roasters. Great coffee and great atmosphere.

Now it’s time to get back to work on at least one of my stories. I think Finny needs me to talk to him. This is a character I hope to introduce to the world in the not too distant future. The others are trying to get my attention, but not communicating not quite as forcefully. I have yet to revisit Ursel. Sophie and Eihpos have been whispering in my ear. There a few others, but they will just need to be patient. Guess I better get back to work.

For now keep the coffee flowing.

Respectfully submitted,

Jodi
