During the months of November and now into December, I have been working on the story that I want to submit to my next contest. NaNoWriMo write-ins helped me understand more about the story. I still need to spend more time getting to know a couple of the characters.
One of the newer characters in the story is a sentient robot. I need to study robotics, just a little. I am not going to dwell too much on scientific facts, however I need to understand more to get to know my character better.
For now, I’ve updated information in book 1 of “The Naldo” series. I’m sure that I will come back to chapter 1 of book 1, but for now, I’m going to concentrate on the short story I need to write.
I thought that I’d lost my passion for writing, but it was only hiding from me. All I need to do is sit down and start typing. My characters bring me back to that passion. They carry me away to a different world of wonder and acceptance.
So, at least for now, I’m going to dive back in and get more words on paper.
