Working and Living in Interesting Times

Posted on March 24, 2020 By Jodi

Sunday is a day I dedicated much time to my writing and editing.

Monday, I went back to my day job. Working in the banking industry is considered essential. I wholeheartedly agree. We’ve been working, to keep at bay, the kind of fear from people that I’ve not seen in the years since I’ve started working in banking in 1983. We’ve gotten through all those other times that people were afraid of. We’ll get through this too.

Something we can all do now is, if possible, stay home. If we need to go out, to the store or elsewhere, ask a neighbor if there’s something you can get for them. Reach out and communicate with your neighbors. Use Social Media to keep in touch.

With that in mind, I challenge you to join me, both Wednesday and Thursday night this week at 7:00pm, on Facebook and/or Twitter.

Until then, I’ll work on the edit of my first book. I want to get through this edit and start to work on the recommendations of my Writers’ Critique group.

I had planned on working on book 2 in the Naldo Series, while on my cruise that got canceled. I can still spend time on this. I just need to be more creative on time spent, because I’m going to work my day job, after 2 days vacation.

Keep the wine and coffee flowing.

Respectfully submitted,

Jodi
