Many of the things in my life have remained the same. I have a day job at an essential service, banking. It has been interesting and I enjoy working to help folks keep somethings on a more even keel.
Even though somethings remain real and comfortable, somethings must change. Meetings, even in small groups will not be happening for a long time. One thing we can do, and I’ve been lucky enough to participate in a few, are video meetings. The local Chamber of Commerce has held some and my critique group is starting to participate with a weekly one as well.
For me, I believe it’s a little more usual than for others because I still have my regular job and do get out of the house, at least to a degree of what I am used to. I just need to work on my concentration for the edit of my book. With the new zoom meetings, I should be able to move through the current edit of my critique group, then move on to fleshing out Book 2.
In the meantime, keep the wine and coffee flowing.
Respectfully submitted,
Jodi
