My hope is that everyone who reads any of the entries on my webpage will give me feedback. Do you like what and how I write? If you don’t let me know why. If you do, let me know why. In advance, thank you.

Was hoping you may have some tips on how to wright solid query letters for a romantic sci-fi novel. I just finished editing one. But I know the query is the most important thing to try and attract an agent. Anytime I try to ask for feedback on my draft people are hesitant because they say the genre isn’t really their thing. So they aren’t sure how to critique it… Help?
I’ve been trying to figure this out myself. One thing I know, you need to show what your book is all about in very few words. There needs to be a hook to get the agent intrigued. I’ve worked on this and changed mine many times, however I have not gotten any takers yet. Think what would show on the back of the book cover. Not sure if this will help.

Hi Gabrielle,
